Wino traktuję jako odskocznię od zawodowej codzienności. Frédéric Roméro joined his father more than 20 years ago and now is leading the family business. The wines are really well done, having as much finesse as Rasteau is capable of which is quite an achievement for this chunky, robust appellation. The entire range is very well handled, and Rasteau Cuvee Prestige and Fleur de Confiqnce especially worth seeking out. On top of that you should definitely try Rasteau Vin Doux Naturel, which is just super joyful. @domaine.des.garriguettes was one of my discoverie @domaine.des.garriguettes was one of my discoveries at this year’s edition of Decouvertes. I’ve tasted their wine in a tasting żonę and immediatelly fell in love in their Fleur de Lune Cotes du Rhone Blanc. It’s sapid, mineral and just super tasty. Beret Bleu, red Vin de France was just unassuming, liquid joy. Their Cotes du Rhone Village Gadagne L’Amista is quite serious wine, deep, dense, packed with black fruit and garrigue, dry but with a certain amount of hedonic sucrosite. Chateuneuf du Pape is very Intense, rich and also broad and surprisingly fresh. Even with it’s high alcohol on the brighterr end of spectrum. Elodie Balme are one of the shining stars of Raste Elodie Balme are one of the shining stars of Rasteau and Roaix. Her wine are delicate, bright, full of energy. White is made in a bit reductive style, with struck match and plenty of mineral freshness. Rosé is just super tasty, quite complex and joyful. I really enjoyed red Côtes du Rhône, packed with fruit, underlined with herbat notes, with a bit of tannins. Champs Libres Roaix was my favorite one, quite powerful, deep, with ripe red and dark fruit, fresh with a touch of pkeasant bitterness in the finish. Domaine Brusset is one of those Rhône estates wit Domaine Brusset is one of those Rhône estates with the wide range of wines, from simple (but super tasty) Cotes du Rhone to super complex, ambitious Gigondas of great depth.
